Owner, Cheer, Toddler Dance Classes
Amy Cropper is a Las Vegas native with 22 years of dance experience and 12 years of teaching experience. She is a Foothill and UNLV alumna and danced all eight years on Varsity and UNLV Rebel Girls. Following graduation, Amy spent two years as an assistant coach for the UNLV Rebel Girls, and then two years as an assistant coach for Foothill High School Dance. She danced and cheered for the semi-professional UFL Football Locos team as captain, worked for the National Dance Association teaching dance summer camps all across the country for three years, taught dance for the UNLV Rebel Starzz junior program for three years, and has been teaching dance at Dance Addiction since our opening and is one of our owners. Amy is a certified National Group Fitness Instructor for Lifetime Fitness where she teaches cycling, various strength classes, Zumba, Aqua Aerobics, and soon to be High Fitness Certified. In her free time she loves watching movies and making cake pops. Amy’s favorite style of dance is hip hop and jazz and her favorite part about teaching at DA is seeing her dancers improve their skills as well as their confidence. She loves helping cultivate the next generation of dancers because of the way dance has shaped her entire life during the good times and bad. Her passion is creating a healthy lifestyle and a positive outlet for everyone she comes in contact with.
Hailey Petersen, originally from Minnesota, has been a studio dancer since the age of five and has a strong passion for teaching. Hailey is a Foothill High School alumna where she was on the varsity dance team and then went on to dance at UNLV as a Rebel Girl. She has coached Foothill JV Dance, at small studios, and has been teaching at DA since our start in 2015. In 2016, Hailey became Artistic Director and created the Elite Competition Team. Having grown up with a dance family that she competed with, she wanted to create a program where dancers could not only train and improve their technique, but could feel how much they mattered and were part of a family at DA. Her goal for anyone who goes through the program is to create disciplined, confident, responsible, and compassionate young dancers. She is passionate in that her job is much more than teaching kids how to dance. In her free time, she loves to drink coffee, relax in an infrared sauna, and make YouTube videos. Sydney Broadwell, originally from Arizona, has been dancing since the age of two and was a member of the nationally ranked Foothill High School Varsity Dance team for three years. She is currently attending the College of Southern Nevada where she is working towards becoming a dental hygienist. Sydney is passionate about fitness and loves to run, hike, cycle, lift weights, play sports, and pretty much anything that moves her body. She is a certified CycleStar at CycleBar where she teaches cycle classes. Sydney has been teaching at Dance Addiction since 2015 and loves to share with all of her students the same confidence and strength she has gained from dancing. She loves how dance has pushed her to be her best and get out of her comfort zone and hopes that her students will apply the same drive to their dancing. Sydney considers Dance Addiction her second home and loves her family of Dance Addicts!

Paris Andrews is a Las Vegas native and has been dancing since she was three years old. She has trained in multiple studios, including Dance Addiction. She was a member of the nationally ranked Foothill High School Dance Teams for two and a half years. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family. Paris has been teaching at Dance Addiction since 2017 and loves to build relationships with her dancers and seeing them succeed.

Natalie Belingheri is a Las Vegas native and has danced in multiple studios her whole life. She is currently a member of the nationally ranked Foothill High School Dance Team and loves to perform any chance she can get. Her favorite style of dance is Jazz and has been hugely impacted by dance. In her free time Natalie likes to go on hikes, spend time outside, try new foods and new adventures, spend time with her friends and family, and dance. Natalie has been teaching at Dance Addiction since 2019 and her favorite part about teaching is being able to help her students improve their skills in such a positive, happy environment like Dance Addiction.
Ballet, Jazz, Toddler Dance Classes
Alexa Cardon, originally from Utah, starting dancing at the age of three at The Dance Club in Orem, Utah. While training at the studio, she was able to perform and compete around the country, including the 2002 Winter Olympics with Earth Wind and Fire in the closing ceremonies. At the age of 12, her family moved to San Clemente, California where she began strictly training Vaganava Ballet with Youth American Ballet under the direction of Bolshoi Ballets’ Victor and Tatiana Kasatsky. Alexa has danced in principle roles of full-length ballets such as The Nutcracker, Seven Beauties, Don Quixote, and Raymonda. She was a top 12 finalist at Youth American Ballet in New York City Nationals and won the Stars of Tomorrow scholarship from La Dorth Chandler Music Center. Alexa has danced with ballet companies such as Lines Ballet (San Francisco), Staats Ballet (Berlin, Germany), Stugart Ballet (Stugart, Germany), and MyWay Dance (Kiev, Ukraine). She has taught ballet at multiple studios around Northern Utah where her ballet choreography has won many awards in multiple competitions. Alexa graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Family History, Genealogy and specializes in Southern States Genealogy. While attending BYU, she taught jazz technique for students and dancers in the Young Ambassadors program for over two years. In her free time, Alexa likes to spend time with her family and participate in fitness competitions. Alexa has been teaching at Dance Addiction since 2019 and loves to show young dancers how ballet is not only important for all areas of dance, but outside the studio as well. She hopes to bring a fun energy that gets dancers excited to take ballet.
Hip Hop, Leaps & Turns, Adult Class
Maddie Dion, originally from California, has been dancing since the age of three and is a FHS alumna where she was a member of the nationally ranked Foothill High School Varsity Dance Team for three years. She is currently attending UNLV and pursuing a degree in Nursing to become a labor and delivery neonatal nurse. In her free time, Maddie is usually studying, drinking coffee, or getting in her Grey’s Anatomy fix. Her favorite style of dance is hip hop and loves to share her love and experience in dance with her students. Maddie has been teaching at DA since 2019 and loves the friendly atmosphere and her student’s desire and ambition to learn.
Dagney Goodfellow is a Las Vegas native and has been a member of the nationally ranked Foothill High School Varsity Dance Team for two years. She has trained at multiple studios including B. Sharp School of Dance and Dance Addiction. In her free time, Dagney loves to spend time outdoors, embark on adventures, and dance. Her favorite style of dance is jazz and hip hop. Dagney has been teaching at Dance Addiction since 2019 and loves the feeling of family she feels every time she comes into the studio.
Gage Jaeger Johnson is a Las Vegas native and has trained with various dance crews such as High Profile and the Rebel Girls & Company. He has competed in World of Dance L.A., Las Vegas, and Chicago and is represented by MSA Talent Agency. From winning multiple national titles on the all-male dance team at Desert Oasis High School to being apart of the first addition of boys on the UNLV Rebel Girls & Company and winning two national titles in the D1A hip-hop division, Gage has been recognized for not only his dancing, but his choreography as well. He has been teaching choreography in the Las Vegas dance community for the past six years and has taught for numerous competitive teams across the nation. He is a student of hip-hop culture and wants to help educate everyone he has the privilege of working with on the history and traditions that have made hip-hop what it is today. He has been teaching at Dance Addiction since 2018 and loves leaving his students with a better understanding of the techniques behind hip-hop and emphasizing the purpose and quality of each movement. He always strives to highlight the best qualities of each dancer and showcase the passion that they have for dance.

Alexa Petersen, originally from Minnesota, majored in Dance at Las Vegas Academy and trained at The Dance Zone for 10 years. She has danced in the Downtown Summerlin Holiday Parade and has a passion for choreography and ballet. In her free time, she likes to draw, write, and dance. Her favorite part about teaching at Dance Addiction is to watch her dancers develop their own artistic style.
Hip Hop, Tumbling
Hannah Ray, originally from Colorado, grew up trained in the Royal Academy of Dance for ballet and later turned her focus to hip hop and jazz. She has been in Las Vegas for four years attending UNLV and pursuing a degree in Marketing and a minor in Communications. She is a former member of the UNLV Rebel Girls Dance team and won two collegiate national titles with the team. Hannah is in her fifth year with the National Dance Alliance where she is a head instructor and judge. In her free time, Hannah likes to travel, especially when she gets to travel to teach and choreograph dance. Hannah has been teaching at Dance Addiction since the start of 2019 and loves to see her students improve week to week. She feels that there is nothing better than watching their confidence and love for dance grow every day.
Tori Strehlow is a Las Vegas native and has been doing gymnastics since the age of two. She competed five years in gymnastics with Gymcats and seven years in cheer, including the Foothill High School Varsity Cheer Team. She is currently attending the College of Southern Nevada where she is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology. In her free time, Tori lies to exercise, be outside, lay out by the pool, and spend time with her friends and family. Tori has been teaching at Dance Addiction since 2016 and loves to inspire and grow with her students.
Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Technique, Leaps & Turns, Tumbling
Landry Thompson, originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, is an accomplished dancer/choreographer with over 10 years of experience training in Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, and Acro/Tumbling. Her professional career began at the age of ten when she got her first dancing role as a Munchkin in the 2010 Broadway tour of The Wizard of Oz. Since then, she has traveled all over the country, teaching, filming commercials, and performing in live shows like World of Dance, Choreographers Carnival, and numerous corporate events. In 2014, Landry began coaching her own competitive dance teams, where her choreography was recognized with multiple regional and national titles. Landry relocated to Las Vegas in 2017 where she has had the opportunity to further expand her dance career and continues to work with the industries best. Landry’s favorite style of dance is Jazz Funk and her favorite part about teaching at Dance Addiction is being able to constantly change the focus, goals, and challenges in her classes as her students improve.

Melissa Vargo, originally from New York, has 26 years of dance experience, 16 years of teaching experience, and 7 years of performing professionally. She graduated in 2012 with her Bachelors in Arts and Letters: Dance from State University of NY with National Honors from the Society of Dance Arts. Melissa completed her BFA with an academic program with a study abroad in Beijing, China at Capital Normal University where she studied Performance, Dance Education, and Traditional Chinese Dance. She also instructed American Vernacular dance at the university. Melissa is a current member of the National Dance Education Organization and has taught at a number of studios in the Las Vegas and Western New York areas. Her fondness for working with children and her commitment to the community has led her to teaching at many local schools, community service centers, studios, and colleges. Her true passion lies in teaching, choreography, and producing. Melissa owns and runs a successful production company, Melissa Vargo Productions LLC, a registered Talent Agent in the state of Nevada and California. She produces custom and entertainment programs for Wynn Nightlife and MGM Resorts International. In her free time, she loves playing with her dog, Sal, and traveling. Melissa has been teaching at Dance Addiction since 2018 and not only loves the studio space, staff, and the feeling of family, but also how kind and positive each of her students are.
Jeremiah Williams is a Las Vegas native and currently attending UNLV and pursuing a degree in Business Finance and a minor in Information Technology. He is a member of the UNLV Rebel Girls & Company where they have won three national titles and are the Red-bull Bracket Reel Champions. Jeremiah has competed in World of Dance L.A., Las Vegas, and Chicago, was a part of the Las Vegas Aces Wild Card Crew, and a background dancer for K. Kaviar. In April 2020, Jeremiah will be competing for USA on the U.S. National Hip Hop Team for ICU Worlds. In addition to dancing, Jeremiah is talented in choreography and creative direction with each team he has been on. In his free time, he loves to try new foods and shoot some hoops. He has been teaching at Dance Addiction since 2018 and loves to challenge his dancers to get out of their comfort zone and to become confident in themselves and their abilities.
